You were somewhere with streetlights. Now you are in Aldremar.
You wake in the grass outside the walls of Vessengard with a pane of pale light in front of your face that knows your name. Nobody else can see it. Over the city, the Crown's summoning column is going out: five Heroes, reached for on purpose. You were not. The Adventurers' Guild will pay you by the job anyway.

You are not who we were reaching for.

Unspent points: 5
Nine scenes, from an ordinary Tuesday to the Bronze Seal.
Every character starts here, built from the genre's own furniture so an isekai reader is at home before the rug moves. After the seal, the world is yours.
- IBefore
The last thing you remember: the crossing, the office at 2am, the hospital bed, the rooftop. It stays with you as +2 to a stat, forever.
- IIThe Between
A pane in the dark, and a sentence that is not a god. You choose your class, and your name.
- IIIThe Gift
Your cheat skill, the Weave's first thread. Never below B.
- IVThe Wrong Side of the Circle
Face-down in the Greenmarch as the Crown's column goes out. A Scree Hound, and your first lesson: its next move is always shown.
- VMira
The farm girl with the pitchfork. Win or lose, she is there. Losing only changes who saved whom.
- VIThe Road
The Heroes, the Hollow, window-eyes, the guild. Ask what you like; each is answered once.
- VIIThe Crystal
Hessa, the blood on the card, and the appraisal crystal. At SS it cracks, and the Crown's registrar stops writing.
- VIIIThe First Request
A cutpurse in the fish market, and a guild that pays by the job.
- IXLate-Come
The seal, the board, and the world. Then Act I, Nobody's People, is waiting.
Everything here is traceable to something you have read.
A medieval-fantasy ground, and four stories you already know. The Weave is the thread that runs through all of them.
The System Window
Notifications, titles, F to S ranks, tower climbing, regressors and returners.
Magic by Affinity
Circles of mastery, elements that answer some of you better than others, and silent casting as the thing worth earning.
Truck-kun, and After
The voice in the dark, the cheat gift, the adventurers' guild, the appraisal crystal, and a hero summoning you were not part of.
Floors and Menus
The menu as the world's UI, floor bosses and towns, sword-skill post-motion, proficiency, and Unique Skills with one holder each.
One window, in Discord. Every button edits it in place.
/menu is home, laid out like SAO's main menu: you, your things,
the world. The status window, the quest board and the fight card are all the same pane.
Fights You Can Read
Three bands: Close, Mid and Far. The enemy's next move is always on the card. A Heavy leaves you recovering and exposed, and a staggered beast steadies itself.
Spells You Name
Element, shape and circle, and the name is yours. Slow workings are declared a turn early and seen. Silent casting takes that away.
The Loom
Thirty-five talents as graded aptitudes, C to SS, with every number shown. Two banners, their own pity, and published odds that a test checks against the code.
Seven Seals
A seal is a licence, not a power level. A board that re-posts when you clear it, open hunting, and exams that are real fights in front of somebody.
Hard Work, 0 to 1000
Your weapon, your class skill and every spell get stronger the more you use them, up to +30% at mastery. Talent makes the climb easier. It never makes the climb.
Play as Long as You Like
No vigor, no energy, no daily limit. The climb to level 100 is about two years for a heavy player, and that is the point.
Seven seals, F to S. Each one earned in front of somebody.
The guild is the only institution in Vaelholt that treats a Late-Come as a person with a rate. It does not ask where you came from.

Every Circle and every Form is bought with levels and the stat you put points into. Nothing on the Loom touches either, so a player who never pulls a rare can still reach the top.
Two hundred floors under Vessengard.
The Undercroft's unmapped fifth floor is where the stair keeps going. The frontier belongs to the whole server: the first person to clear a floor opens the next for everybody, and it is announced.
Undermere
A lake under the world, and a thousand lamps on the water. The first great town of the Descent.
- Every tenth floor is a town, with no guardian: somewhere to breathe. The first to walk into one founds it for the server.
- Floors 50, 100 and 150 are great cities, each with a named gatekeeper on the floor above.
- Two floors a level, so the frontier keeps moving across the whole two-year climb.
- Some guardians are walls on purpose. Party raids are what those walls are for.
Four skills. One holder each, on the whole server.
They never enter the ordinary pool: an SS pull becomes an unclaimed Unique a quarter of the time. The claim is written down and announced in #the-loom.
Dual Blades
Sword Art OnlineTwo swords, and the reflexes the Weave only gives one person to use them.
Sage of the Weave
Mushoku TenseiYou understood magic as a child understands a language. Nobody else has.
The Hero's Blessing
IsekaiThe blessing the Weave meant for someone inside the circle. It found you in a ditch instead.
Regressor's Memory
ManhwaYou have done all of this before. You remember how it ended.
Five were summoned. You fell through the same cut, into a ditch.
The Heroes got a palace wing, a parade and a sword each. The Crown told them they were the only ones with a window. The Crown's registrar keeps writing one question in his ledger: what are the other ones for?
Eighteen, a kendo captain, and he waves at every person in a crowd and means it every time.
She rides a little behind the others and does not wave. She watches the rooftops, one by one, the way you would check a list you had written yourself.
The palace healers have stopped arguing with him.
Forty-four, an accountant. On her first day she asked the King how to get home, in front of everyone.
Fifteen. He shouts status open at crowds.
No palace, no parade. A ditch in the Greenmarch, a window nobody believes you have, and a guild that pays by the job.
What the Guild Counter sells, and what it never will.
Aldremar is a gacha game, on purpose. A lucky pull, or a paid one, really does make the climb easier. What luck never does is decide a fight or gate a rung.
/claim, and cosmetics. That is the whole shelf.Wake up in the Greenmarch.
Your window, your saves and your fights happen privately in a server or in your DMs, and the same character follows you everywhere.
